Wai-iti hops, a New Zealand variety released in 2011, are known for their delicate and refreshing aroma, featuring notes of stone fruit, citrus, and florals. Crafted from a cross between "Old Line" and "Saaz" varieties, they offer a unique and captivating character.
With a lower alpha acid content, Wai-iti hops are favored for their aromatic qualities rather than bitterness. Brewers use them in late boil additions and dry hopping, especially in beer styles like Pilsners, Lagers, and light-bodied Ales, where their enchanting aroma can shine.
