A triploid variety cross between "Old Line" Saazer from New Zealand's Plant and Research center, Riwaka™ made it;s debut in 1997. With strong grapefruit and citrus characteristics this aroma hop is typicaly used in late boil additions and dry hopping and the above average oil content makes it a strong contender for styles including but not limited to pale ales, IPAs and pilsners.
