NZ Rakau 2022

Bred and chosen for its dual purpose characteristics, Rakau™ was released from the NZ Hop Breeding program in 2007. With it's high alpha acid and oil content, Rakau™ is ideal for hop forward lagers, belgian ales, or American Wheats and because of the low cohumulone levels Rakau™ is often used to produce hoppy IPAs with subtle bitterness. Bringing forth stone fruit, fig and apricot characteristics it can be used in all hop additions throughout the brewing process.
